Process and Project Leader Focused on Social Services Area (Temporary Position)

Do you want to work with collaboration and development between the municipalities in the Stockholm region? Are you a driven process and/or project leader interested in independently and collaboratively leading various processes and projects? Then we have an interesting temporary position for you!

The Organization and Role

Storsthlm's mission is to promote collaboration and development so that the 26 municipalities in Stockholm County can better achieve their goals for welfare and service for citizens. We capture the regional perspective on municipal issues and lead collaboration to find ways forward. At our office in central Stockholm, about 50 people are organized into four units: regional collaboration, high school admissions, communication and process support, and finance.

One of our employees will be on parental leave. Therefore, we are now looking for a process and project leader.

In the role of temporary process and project leader with us, you will work on politically prioritized assignments aimed at developing regional collaboration between the municipalities in the county. The four prioritized areas in Storsthlm's strategic direction are; Good and Close Care and Support, Infrastructure, Digitalization, and Joint High School Region. Primarily within the area of Good and Close Care and Support, you will participate in both ongoing processes and more defined projects with, for example, targeted stimulus funds.

In your role, you will represent Storsthlm and collaborate closely with senior process and project leaders, contributing your expertise to their assignments, as well as with communicators, economists, and assignment secretaries. You will report to the head of the Regional Collaboration unit.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant higher education or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Experience in process and/or project management
  • Documented experience in social services
  • Experience working in municipalities or collaboration between municipalities and regions
  • Extensive experience in producing documents and presenting clearly and communicatively both orally and in writing
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Worked at a strategic level
  • Project management training
  • Knowledge of the Stockholm region

As a person, you are driven, independent, persistent, and have a clear focus on results. Since you will participate in assignments across various subject areas, curiosity, flexibility, analytical ability, and a strategic holistic perspective are required. The role requires a very good ability to represent the organization externally and to create and maintain good relationships both internally and with member representatives. Having a responsive and consultative approach is also a prerequisite for success in the role since our work involves collaboration and cooperation.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

We Offer

Stimulating and varied work tasks, many points of contact, and the opportunity to influence and make a difference from a societal perspective. At Storsthlm, we are unpretentious and work in a team-oriented manner – and we have fun together as we tackle these complex assignments and create collaboration in the county. We are a workplace with short decision-making paths where we learn as we work and take new paths when needed. We are located in pleasant premises near Medborgarplatsen in central Stockholm, close to both subway and commuter trains.

About Us

Storsthlm is an association owned and governed by the 26 municipalities in Stockholm County. Leading politicians and officials from the municipalities come here to exchange experiences and collaborate on things that can be done better together. Our mission is to promote collaboration and development so that municipalities can better achieve their goals for welfare and service for citizens. We facilitate the municipalities' collaboration by capturing the regional perspective on municipal issues and leading collaboration to find ways forward. This can involve inter-municipal issues such as a joint high school region or transport infrastructure, agreements between municipalities and Region Stockholm, or collaborations with various authorities. It is when the right questions, actors, and operations are connected that we can create something really good together. Read more at www.storsthlm.se (http://www.storsthlm.se)
